Saturday the 4th of July is the date for the Cowfold Festival and Classic & Sports Car Show. The show has grown over the years with around 130+ cars attending. It is a very large village fete with all the usual attractions such as a large Funfair with big wheel, dodgems etc, dog show, horticultural show 50 or more stands along with bars and BBQ. Evening entertainment comprises of a festival style stage with live bands. This year we have “Vintage Lianna” & “The Embers” playing. Vintage Lianna sings "20’s – 50’s style music and is fantastic, The Embers will appeal to the younger visitors.
The car show runs from 12 – 5 and we would ask that all entrants arrive before that time to enable them to cross the field in safety. There are Rosettes and trophies for the best in show. Please could you ask anyone who intends to attend to let me know in advance however late “on the day entries” can give me a call on the mobile 1st to ensure there is space ! Again subject to space small gazebos can be erected in front of members cars once every one is parked up. It is a GREAT day that raises money for local charities.
Entry to all events is free including the evening music festival !
