Shoreham Airshow 2014
Aircraft from both world wars and some that are the last of their kind thrilled visitors at the 25th anniversary Shoreham Airshow. The Tiger Nine Display Team, an amateur team including the oldest Tiger Moth in existence, flew in tight formation on Sunday. The Trig Aerobatic Team, demonstrating 1920s flying from the barnstorming era, was also able to get very close on Sunday. The Tiger Club Turbulent Team provided light relief, flour-bombing a ‘house’, limbo flying and bursting balloons in the air. Classic jet aircraft such as the Hunter, Strikemaster and iconic Vulcan were in attendance. More modern jet aircraft was shown by the RAF, including the superb Typhoon FGR4 which set many car alarms off! SADCASE attending the ever growing classic car show on both days with the club having a 14 strong showing on the Sunday and a few more members signed up! Thanks to all who came along and supported the club!
