BRMC Burpham 2013
Another sunny Sunday saw a very good turn out of SADCASES, with their cars, flying the flag at the Burpham Motor Racing Club Classic Car Show on Sunday 1st September. It was a very friendly well organised event and a good time was had by all. A few pictures on the events page include Dave Jupp's Bond and the gleaming engine in Ian Page's TR4A. Two SADCASES bribed their way into the competition for youngsters being run by the Boodhound Landspeed Record Team. Entrants were required to make a model landspeed car from a block of polystyrene and a set of wheels. Rockets were then attached and the models were fired down a runway; the winner was the one that went the furthest. I have to report that the SADCASES were soundly beaten by the engineers of tomorrow! Richard Noble of landspeed record fame and head of the Bloodhound Team signed the SADCASE models so that they can be auctioned for charity at our "Not the Christmas Party" bash in January
